We are interested in hearing about your life before prison.
These are guiding questions to help you tell your story. You may answer as many or as little of the questions you would like.
1 - What is your first memory?
2 - Who do you consider to be your family; please tell us about them?
• Describe what your home was like growing up.
• What were mealtimes like in your family?
• What were family gatherings life, how often did they happen?
• Tell us about any family traditions associated with holidays.
3 - Tell us about any religious traditions when you were young?
• What role did this play in your life growing up?
• Tell us about religious traditions you ascribe to now.
4 - What were your hopes/aspirations for your future adult life?
• What are your hopes and aspirations now?
5 - Please share anything else about yourself you would like us to know.
How we will use your story:
A - We will archive it and make it available to researchers and others - not for profit.
B - We might feature your story on our website
